My Work

Clean Sweep

Third Person Shooter (Unreal Engine)

Hostiles have taken over an advanced robotics facility near the Sierra Nevada. They’ve taken hostages and have access to some seriously bleeding-edge tech that cannot fall into the wrong hands. You’re up.

By The Blade

First Person Adventure RPG (Unreal Engine)

Your father is dead, our land is in ruins, and those who could not flee fast enough were never seen again. Evil has been left to fester for 28 long years, but we’re finally strong again. Those who live by the blade so too shall die by it, my young King.

Get To Know Me

Ah welcome friend, come right in! No weapons on the table!

My name’s Vivek (vee-vek) and I really love games. I got started playing old-school NES games with my brother and my dad, I was young, but I like to think I still held my own!
My passion for the creative side of things began when I first started making maps for Starcraft and later Counter-Strike. I still find great joy in seeing my creations enjoyed by others, and that’s a big part of what drives my work to this day.
Great games always make you feel something, whether that’s the joy of overcoming the odds or the dread of knowing something bad is just around the corner. My approach to design is the same, I try to pull the player in and make them feel something that leaves a lasting impression. We all have fond memories of games we’ve played and those are what I strive for.

My first step into the realm of the nerd (making Starcraft maps was cool, right?!) was when I first learned programming and eventually worked professionally as a full-stack web developer. This was a wonderful experience because it gave me valuable insight into the inner workings of the backend for much of the technology we use so commonly today. Picking up Unreal Engine came naturally after my work as a developer since I was already familiar with so many of the programming concepts.
Although I started on the technical side of things, my passion and talents have always aligned best with the design aspect of making games. Some of my favorite design elements are combat, encounters, systems, narrative, and UX.

Outside of games, I also enjoy the outdoors, traveling, sports, fishing, and movies/shows.
